Early Thursday afternoon, Engine and Rescue Co. 17, Rescue Co. 19, and Rescue Engine 12 were dispatched for a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.  The location was Wardensville Pike (RT 55) at South Pifer Road.  Medic 19-1 responded with Sergeant 19 going to the scene.  Sergeant 19 arrived and reported that the accident was just East of S. Pifer Road, with an SUV on its top and a motorcycle over the embankment.  It was also confirmed of multiple patients with one serious.  He requested an additional transport unit and an additional engine company for manpower.  Bringing Shenandoah County Rescue 25-2 and Wagon 51.  Ambulance 17-1 arrived and began care followed by Medic 19-1 treating the serious patient.  RE-12 arrived and Lt. Light (FCFR) established Wardensville Pike command.  All patients were packaged and loaded for transport.  17-1 and 25-2 transported 3 priority 3 patients with 19-1 handling a priority 2 patient.  Command held RE-12 and Wagon 51 until the road was reopened.  Command was terminated and remaining units were released as ready.
