While 19-1's crew was wrapping up an EMS call at the ER, companies 15 and 19 were alerted for an accident with injury at the intersection of Northwestern Pike and Poorhouse Road. Medic 15-1 and Rescue Engine 15 responded as 19-1 went enroute from the hospital. 19 had staffing for the second ambulance so 19-2 responded as well. 15's units arrived to find 3 vehicles sandwiched together at the stop sign in the intersection. In an ironic twist, the stop sign was actually sheared off the pole and was stuck in between the cars. 19-1 was directed to position in front of 15-1 and upon their arrival they were advised that there were no patients needing transported. 19-2 was returned by Chief 19 and 19-1 was released by Chief 15 after about 10 minutes.
